Betty Dupre

Betty Ann Dupre, 86, a native and resident of Houma, LA passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday morning at 3:35am.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Houma, LA from 9:30am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin follow visitation at 11:30am with burial taking place after services in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Betty is survived by her loving family; her husband of sixty-nine years; Camille Dupre Jr. "CJ"; her children, Gwen Eaton (Greg), David Dupre (Angela), Darlene Buquet (Gilbert Jr.), Daniel Dupre (Eldine), and Diane Fitzgerald (Michael); siblings, Magnal Martin (Mildred), Walter Martin (Lana); grandchildren, Christopher Eaton, Cindy Marcel, Steven Mire, Bobby Dupre, Randy Dupre, Jessica Arcenaux, Justin Buquet, Danielle Kay, Aaron Dupre, Tyler Dupre, Jeremy Fitzgerald, and Kevin Fitzgerald; and many loving great grandchildren.

Betty is preceded in passing by her parents, Lawrence Martin and Lula Mae Toups Martin; daughter, Connie Sue Dupre Mire; and son-in-law, James Mire.

Betty was a devoted wife to the love of her life; C.J.

Faith and family was always an important part of Betty's life. She was also a skilled and accomplished painter, and loved to work in her flower garden. Betty was a good cook and cooked many meal with her family; which she enjoyed spending time with above all other activities.

The family would like to give a warm "Thank you" to all the people who loved and cared for Betty and family in their times of need.
