Bernard "T-June" Dardar

Bernard "T-June" Anthony Dardar, age 87, passed away Wednesday September 18, 2024 surrounded by his loving family. He was a native of Grand Isle and resident of Point Aux Chenes. 

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the memorial service at New Beginnings Church in Point Aux Chenes on Saturday October 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM until service time at 12:00 PM. 

T-June is survived by his children, Troy Dardar, Randall Dardar and wife Samantha, Shantell Dardar; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters, Theresa Verdin, Delores Hendon Pennington, Agnes Hendon Grider, Yvonne Hendon Gray; brothers, Jerry Hendon, Lawrence Hendon, Ronnie Hendon. 

T-June is preceded in death by his ex-wife, Angeline Naquin Dardar; parents, Theophile and Aglonie Dardar; children, Chad and Chasity Dardar; sisters, Theophilia Foret, Bessie Hendon Parfait, Gilian Hendon, Alice Hendon, Solet; brothers, Horace Dardar, Henry Hendon, Curtis Hendon. 

T-June was a butcher for Bourg Supermarket for fifty years. He was an exceptional guitar player and musician and was inducted into the West Bank Musicians Hall of Fame. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
