Obituary

Anna Leigh Crochet, 23, native of Houma, LA and resident of Sandy Hook, MS passed away on June 1, 2026.

The Serenity Prayer, God, “grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change the courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference.”

She was born on January 27, 2003. Anna worked as a life insurance agent, and she found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved son, creating memories that will forever be cherished.

Anna was known for her adventurous spirit and "spur of the moment" nature, embracing every opportunity with enthusiasm. Her personality lit up a room, and her contagious laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Anyone who knew her well knew she had a love for animals of all kinds, holding a special place in her heart. She was also a kidney transplant recipient. She had a strong characteristic to help others in their journey with great gratitude from her father and others. Her son Mason was her number one strength. Her characteristics and convictions to help others will be remembered for many years, her love for people is unmatched.

Anna was preceded in death by her paternal great grandparents, Claude & Lucille Luke and John and Adele Crochet; maternal great grandparents, J.D & Inez Ordone, Gladys Christopher and Raymond Theriot.

Anna is survived by her son, Mason Reign; father, Billy Crochet; mother, Wendy Boudreaux (Pete); paternal grandparents, Gurshel and Dottie Crochet, Danny and Janice Callahan; maternal grandparents, Robert & Jill Guidry and Lola May; brother, David Crochet; sisters, Laura Crochet, Nikki Toups, and Alysee Boudreaux; and a host of other family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service for Anna will be Saturday, June 13,2026 at Colonial Funeral Home with burial to follow at Hurricane Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12pm until service time at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers include David Crochet, Dewayne Ordone, Tony Ordone, Densil McDonald, Russell Berry, Jose Colon, PJ Bergeron, and Issac Stoetzner.
