Anita Johnson

Anita Lirette Charpentier Johnson, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018. She was a native of Chauvin and a resident of Houma, LA.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday, January 7, 2019 beginning at 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Chauvin, La.

Anita is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn Charpentier Buford; grandchildren, Kenneth Charpentier, Jr., Jeremy Buford, Jonathan Buford, and Amanda Buford, sisters, Juanita L. Theriot and Rena L. Hebert.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband, Raleigh Johnson; son, Kenneth Charpentier; parents, Sairden and Rebecca Marie Lirette; brother, Norman Lirette Sr. and wife, Pauline; brother-in-law’s, Donald Theriot, Sr. and Charlie Hebert.
