Allen LeBlanc

December 13, 1931 — August 26, 2021

Allen Anthony LeBlanc, 89, passed away on August 26, 2021 at 11:18pm. Allen was a native and resident of Chauvin, La.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend visitation on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma from 9:00am until service time. Liturgy will begin following visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home beginning at 11:00am with burial to follow services at St. Joseph Church Cemetery at Chauvin, La.

Allen is survived by his children Dean Allen LeBlanc and wife Stephanie, Wesley LeBlanc and wife Donna, Cinda “Cindy” Pitre and husband Edward “Eddie” Pitre, Timothy “Timmy” LeBlanc and wife Diane, sisters Eulalie Authement, and Claire Whipple; grandchildren John LeBlanc and wife Eugenie, Matthew LeBlanc and wife Jennifer, Brandy Domangue and husband Avery, Shannon Marcel and husband Steven, Amy LeBoeuf and husband Wayne, Eddie Pitre and wife Emily, and Haley Rose LeBlanc; eleven great grandchildren, and loving devoted friend Judy Belanger who he loved and enjoyed spending time with.

Allen was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Winnie Mae “Mae Mae” Martin LeBlanc; parents Justin and Margaret Giroir LeBlanc; siblings, Ruby Joffrion, Julius LeBlanc, Raymond LeBlanc, and May LeBlanc.

Allen owned and operated Allen’s Auto Repair and later in life worked for Chauvin Brothers Store and Lumber Yard. Allen loved to help those in the community. He volunteered at St. Joseph Church Lagniappe Fair and the Ward 7 Citizen’s Club. He got the most enjoyment helping others and spending time with family.

Allen was a person much loved by all his family and friends in the St. Joseph and Chauvin community. He will be dearly missed; never forgotten; and always loved.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Walker, Cardiovascular Institute of the South, Dr. James Watkins, Terrebonne General Hospital, The Oaks of Houma, and Wolfe Pharmacy for the care and assistance they provided to Allen and his family.
