He dedicated 42 years of service to Tennessee Gas, where he was respected for his strong work ethic and commitment. A devoted family man and excellent provider, he took great pride in caring for those he loved. His grandson, Liam, was truly the apple of his eye and brought him immense joy. Known for his great sense of humor and love of animals, friends and family affectionately referred to him as "St. Francis of Assisi." He was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church and has held the position of Officer for the Knights of Columbus for years. Allen loved to volunteer in his community and help others. He enjoyed assisting in community events such as Hero Fest, Family Day at church, and morning breakfast at church.
He enjoyed fishing, celebrating Mardi Gras, and proudly rode with the Terranians for more than 46 years. He and his beloved wife cherished spending evenings with friends while watching Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune. He also enjoyed coordinating the monthly boys' luncheon for the St. Francis Class of 1964, maintaining lifelong friendships that meant so much to him. His laughter, kindness, and unwavering devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
