Alice Ann Ray, 85 passed away on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 2:28pm surrounded by her loving family. Alice was a native of Yazoo City, MS and a resident of Houma, LA.

Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Annunziata Catholic Church on Saturday, August 1, 2026 from 9:00am until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at the church for 11:00am. Burial will take place in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Alice is survived by her loving family; her children, Guy Thompson and wife Karen, Kelli Adams and husband Brian; grandchildren, Jeremie Thompson and wife Alison, Joshua Thompson and wife Crystal, Sara Reeves and husband Ben; great grandchildren, Cy Thompson, Conner Thompson, Carson Eschete and Mariah Mitts. Alice is also survived by many loving cousins and nieces.

Alice is preceded in passing by her parents, Guy Ashley and Sarah Bonney Ashley; sister, Missy Peeples and husband James, daughter, Elizabeth Ann Bonvillian and husband David; daughter, Cindy Ann Ray.

Alice was an active member of Annunziata Catholic Church for many years. She was active in many activities and functions of the church; including Ladies Auxillary, Alter Society, and many roles within the religious school program.

Alice was "Maw Maw" to all the children she baby sat throughout the years. Ochsner New Orleans, Terrebonne General Health Systems, and Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center for their care for her in her final months; Dr. Matt Watkins with Haydel Clinic for the years of care to Alice.
