Alice Geske, age 88, born in Texas and resident of Houma, La. for 57 years, passed away on Friday, July 24, 2026.

Alice is survived by her children, Sheri Geske Crow, Tommy Reed Geske; her grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Cox, Samantha Nichole Cox, Jeremy Heath Cox, Charlie Geske Wolf, Luke Reed Geske, Ezekiel Ashton Geske and Mikelya Rae Geske; and her great-grandchildren, Ian Davis, Tristan Cox, Colin & Gavin Cox, Maxine Cox, Julian, Alice & Cohen LeRay, Davie Jade, and Elyza Ray & Thea Quinn Wolf.

Alice was preceded in passing by her husband, Tom Reed Geske; parents, Samuel E Condo Sr. and Helen Castle Condo; her brothers, Samuel E Condo Jr and Joseph "Joe" L. Condo; and her grandson, Brandon Shane Cox.

Alice, who was lovingly called "sister Alice" or "Maw," was a faithful servant to her God Jehovah, a devoted matriarch to her family and a spiritual mother to many. She was a gracious neighbor, wise counselor, beloved teacher and adored friend.

Maw's life was a masterclass in how to win hearts and build community. She was a warm safe place to those she loved, and an outstanding example of a life well lived. Her legacy will live on through the lives she's touched and the seeds of love she planted in each of us.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering in honor of Alice on Saturday, August 1, 2026 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 4690 LA- 311 Houma, LA 70360 at 4:30PM.
