Alice Bering

Alice Jean Nadolny Bering, age 95, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. She was a native of Eau Gallie, Florida and a resident of Houma, LA.

Alice is survived by her son, John Robert Bering and his companion, Lynn Richert; granddaughter, Stephanie-Anna Florence Bering; and brother, John R. Nadolny, Jr.

Alice was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Joseph Jacob Bering, Jr.; parents, John R. and Florence L. Bundy Nadolny.

Alice attended Grace Lutheran Church in Houma. She was a secretary for National Airlines and then worked 52 years as a bookkeeper for Robert Johnson Accounting retiring at the age of 90. She moved to Louisiana to spend her retirement with her son. She was a member of the Eau Gallie Woman’s Club, Eastern Star, and supporter of the Patriot Guard Riders. Alice enjoyed sewing, reading, traveling, and riding motorcycles. She brought a smile to the face of every life she touched.
