One of the first things that came to mind for those who knew Alfred was green and yellow-he loved his John Deere toys. Another thing he loved was deer hunting. He loved spending time at his camp, preparing for hunting season, and sitting in the stand waiting for anything to come out.. When it wasn't deer season, he was always making improvements to his camp. Alfred was always the life of the party, known for cracking corny jokes or dancing like Elvis. He especially loved his Blue Bell ice cream, Diet Coke, and Little Debbie cakes.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Meng, Dr. Goffin, the chemotherapy nurses, and all of the staff at Mary Bird Perkins in Houma. Their smiles and positive attitudes helped guide us through this journey. A very special thank you is also extended to Stephanie DeRoucher, NP, for being our rock and for her unwavering compassion and support from the very beginning until the very end.
