It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adelyn "Addi" Grace Danos, beloved daughter, sister, and friend, who departed this world on July 26, 2026. Adelyn was born on December 1, 2009, in Houma, Louisiana, where she lived her life surrounded by the love of her family and friends.

Addi is survived by her parents, Daniel D. Danos, Jr. (Nicole) and Katie Benoit Danos; brothers, Dylan Michael Benoit, Kane Camille Danos; sister, Sophia Grace Danos; uncles, Shane Bourg (Ashley), Shawn Bourg (Brandi), Matt Benoit (Lori); aunt, Danielle Danos; grandparents, Lana Danos, Gwen and Darrel Trahan, Pete and Denise Benoit; great-grandfather, Al Poiencot; best-friend, Libby LeBlanc; boyfriend, Avian Celestine; and numerous family and friends.

Addi is preceded in death by her grandparent, Daniel Danos, Sr. and multiple other family members.

Addi had a vibrant and creative spirit, known for her love of music, always seen dancing and singing along to her favorite songs.

Addi had a special knack for decorating for the holidays and showcased her artistic talents through drawing and painting. She deeply enjoyed styling her younger sister, helping her with hair and makeup, and took pride in her appearance. 

Her bright smile, infectious spirit, and loving heart touched the lives of everyone who knew her.

A funeral service will be held in her honor at Chauvin Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 9:00 AM until service time at 3:00 PM. Addi will be laid to rest following the service at Terrebonne Memorial Park. The family invites all those who knew and loved Addi to join them in celebrating her life and the joy she brought into this world.
