Joseph "Joe" Sidney Lodrigue

Joseph "Joe" Sidney Lodrigue, 64, a native of New Orleans and resident of Theriot, died at 8:09 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2007. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Rita Bessie Parfait Lodrigue of Theriot; one son, Joseph David Lodrigue and wife, Jennifer, of Houma; three daughters, Angie Marie Harness and husband, Paul, of Charlotte, N.C., April Dawn Nation and husband, Bryon, of Dulac and Lorita Elizabeth Lovemore and husband, Brian, of Natchitoches; one brother, Paul Lodrigue of Grand Caillou; five sisters, Mary Champagne, Doris Billiot of Dularge, Linda Stendle, Ginger Broussard and Anna Lee Boudloche of Houma; and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Lodrigue and Madeline Solet Lodrigue; and one brother, Alvin Lodrigue. He was a retired warehouseman for Baker Hughes for 25½ years and a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
