Stacy Lynn Bardwell Phipps, 45, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, December 14, 2010. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 10:00 PM on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her husband of 24 years: James B. Phipps Daughters: Courtney Phipps Lapeyrouse and husband Brandon Lapeyrouse and Haley Phipps Grandchildren: Tidus and Taylon "Puddin" Lapeyrouse Father: Willard "Eddie" Bardwell Mother: Suzanne Matlock Bardwell Brothers: Eddie and Bobby Bardwell Mother in Law: Corine Francis Paulk Brother in Law: Glynn "Scott" Phipps and wife Candice Phipps God Father: Carroll Kraemer 6 Nephews and 3 Nieces and a great amount of friends and family. Pall Bearers will be James Phipps, Courtney Phipps Lapeyrouse, Glynn "Scott" Phipps, Eddie Bardwell, Bobby Bardwell, Jessie Berthelot. She was preceded in death by Sister: Becky Bardwell God Mother: Zetta Kraemer Maternal Grandparents: Ray and Ruth Matlock and various relatives. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Stacy was a member of the Krewe of Aquarius. She was an avid Saints and LSU fan. She loved painting her wood crafts. She loved caring for her grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all. A special thanks to Terrebonne Parish Sheriffs Office, Acadian Ambulance Service, House of Flowers, neighbors, close friends, and all who supplied the family with love and support.
