James Dale Carter, 75, a native of Lake Providence, LA and resident of Bourg, LA died Monday, December 13, 2010. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 8:00 AM until Service time on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with Burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery. He is survived by Children: Kathleen A. Carter and companion Mark Houston, Lisa Carter and husband Chris Cavalier, Theresa M. Carter, James D. Carter, Jr and companion Tammie Celotti, Keri Carter and Patrick Miner, Daniel Dusenbery, and two cats T- Boy and Miley Grandchildren: Kyle Carter, Matthew Thibodeaux and Danielle Thibodeaux, Basil Cavalier, Christy Cavalier, Lucus Bergeron, Beau, Elliot, Greta and Anne Dusenbery, Kelly Carter, James D. Carter, III, Miles Carter, Claudia and Ashley Petrone, April Maddox, Terry and Michelle Stephenson Great grandchildren: Piper and Maddox Thibodeaux, Lexi and Haiden Stephenson, Abbigale and Meagan Dusenbery, Nicholas and Elaina Dusenbery and Sister: Esther Carolyn Mai He was preceded in death by Wife: Sally Anne Biggs Carter Parents: Van William Carter and Martha Indiann Stapleton Carter Brothers: William Carter, Robert Carter and Joseph Carter Sisters: Edna Hawthorne, Ethel Heard, Edith Carter, Ella Mae Barnes, Earnie Bell McWilliams, Eloise White, Evelyn Carter and Sally Jane White Daughter: Patricia Gayle Dusenbery Grandson: David Richard Grove, Jr 2 Dogs: Cindy and Missy and 3 Cats: Katis, George and Miss Kitty. He was employed with Chevron Oil Company. He loved going to his fishing camp in Toledo Bend.
