Richard Blaise Samanie, 73, a native of Dulac, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Friday, December 10, 2010. Visitation will be from 10:30am until service time on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at 12:00 pm at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by Spouse, Charlene Samanie of Houma LA; Daughters: Donna Callahan and husband Barney of Thibodaux LA Darla Dupr;e and husband Rickie of Houma LA Debbie Hebert and husband Blake of Houma LA; Dawn Kilpatrick and husband Lee of Crowley LA; Brothers: Robert J. Samanie Jr and wife Ruby of Houma LA; Sisters: Mary Carmen Samanie of Dulac LA; Grandchildren:6; and Great Grandchildren:5 He was preceded in death by Parents: Robert Joseph Samanie Sr. and Brunella Voisin Samanie. He was a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. He was employed by Gulf Coast Packing Comp. Inc.
