Raymond Fanguy

Raymond Paul Fanguy, Sr., 82, died peacefully surrounded by his loving children on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 3:40 PM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 10, 2010 from 8:30 AM until service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, December 10, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral with burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his sons, Randy Fanguy, Rory Fanguy, Eric Fanguy, Douglas Fanguy, David Fanguy daughters, Deborah Ellender, Pamela Pitre, Elizabeth Trahan, Emily Elliott, Allison Fanguy 29 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and sister, Rose Mary Orgeron. He was preceded in death by his wife, Emily Marie Aycock Fanguy parents, Clarence Joseph Fanguy and Adele Evette Pellegrin Fanguy son, Raymond Paul Fanguy, Jr. brothers, Floyd Fanguy, Andrew Fanguy, Adley Fanguy and Alma Fanguy. He was a retired bookkeeper for South Louisiana Electric Company and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. The family wishes to thank the caregivers at The Suites of Sugar Mill Point and Haydel Memorial Hospice for their loving care. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Saint Francis de Sales Cathedral, 500 Goode Street, Houma, Louisiana 70360.
