Lawrence Joseph Chaisson, 89, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at 7:30 AM. He was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, December 8, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Annunziata Catholic Church with burial at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery He was survived by his sons, Raymond Chaisson, Houma, LA, Kenneth Chaisson and wife Leslie, Brookhaven, MS, Roy Chaisson and wife Molly, Madison, MS, daughter, Elizabeth Marie Chaisson, Houma, LA, 12 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren, brothers, Jackson Chaisson and wife Loretta, Bayou Blue, LA Lester Chaisson and wife Jenny, Arizona and sister, Theresa Price and husband Junior, Bayou Blue, LA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Cecile Chaisson, son, Nelson Chaisson, parents, Nelson and Edna DuBois Chaisson, son-in-law, Dwight Daisy, brothers, Chester Chaisson, Easton Chaisson, and sister, Eveola Cross. He was a retired carpenter and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. He served in the Navy during World War II.
