Gwenette Zeringue Ledet, 59, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Monday, December 6, 2010. Visitation will be from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 11:00 AM with Interment at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by Daughter: Holly Boudreaux Grand daughters: Jordan Schouest and Taylor Schouest Mother: Gloria Olivier Zeringue Nieces: Dawn Voisin and Dana Fonseca Bascle Nephew: William Fonseca Sister in law: Helen Naquin Zeringue. She was preceded in death by Father: Ernest P. Zeringue, Sr. Sister: Juleen Zeringue Fonseca Brother: Ernest "Bud" Zeringue, Jr. Grandparents: Austin Paul Sr. and Julia Lovell Olivier and Alphonse Sr. and Annette Zeringue. She was a member of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Gwenette was a teacher at Oakshire Elementary School. She was a graduate of Vandebilt Catholic High School and Nicholls State University. She was a parishioner at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church where she was a member of the church choir.
