Bonnie Jackson

Bonnie Chauvin Jackson, 76, a native of Bayou Dularge, LA and resident of Houma, LA died Thursday, November 25, 2010. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 9:00pm on Sunday, November 28, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and from 9:00am to 11:00 am on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 29, 2010 at 11:00am with Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by husband, Daniel H Jackson of Houma LA; Daughters: Holly Broussard and husband Kevin of Crowley LA and Julie Jackson of Los Angeles CA; Sisters: Joan Ann Cenac and husband Charles of Houma LA; Grandchildren: Ashton Grace Broussard and Kelsey Jean Broussard. She was preceded in death by Parents: John Chauvin and Lula Lovell Chauvin; Brothers: Danny Chauvin and Ronnie Chauvin. She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. Occupation: Terrebonne Parish Clerk of Courts. She was an avid gardener and animal lover. She loved to cook and cater to her friends and family, especially to her two young grandchildren. She was loved by everyone and will be sadly missed. In lieu of flowers the Jackson family request that donations be made to St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church Building Fund at 409 Funderburk Avenue, Houma, Louisiana 70364.
