Catalina Ragas Twiner, 71, a and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Monday, November 29, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Private burial will be held at a later date. She is survived by husband, Joseph Anderson Twiner, Sr.; daughter, Dessie Twiner Treadaway and husband Harold Treadaway; son, Joseph Anderson Twiner, Jr. and wife Mary Elizabeth Twiner; grandchildren, Wayne Shoemake and wife Evelyn Shoemake, Danielle Shoemake, Joseph Anderson Twiner, III and wife Amanda Twiner, Sarah Twiner, Simon Ronquillo, III wife Pat Ronquillo, Rachel Stipelcovich and husband Steven Stipelcovich; great grandchildren, Tyler Shoemake, Joseph Anderson Twiner, IV, Kylie Washington, Kade Paul Twiner, and Ragen Elizabeth Twiner, Gracie Catherine Stipelcovich, Julia Claire Stipelcovich, Simon Joseph Ronquillo, IV, Brendon Richard Ronquillo, Connie Alex Ronquillo, Patrick Simon Ronquillo; brother, Benny Ragas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Ragas and Louise Barrois Baras; and sisters, Althia Keck, and Beverly Price. She was a Homemaker. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association and/or the American Cancer Society.
