Eileen Freeman Poiencot, 50, a native of and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, November 17, 2010.
Visitation will be from on at and from 9:00 AM until Service time on Friday, November 19, 2010 at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc..
Liturgy of the Word will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 11:30 AM with Burial at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
She is survived by husband, Russell Poiencot, Jr.;
son, Rusty James Poiencot and wife Candace Danos Poiencot;
grandchildren, Landon James and Addison Leigh Poiencot;
parents, Roy Freeman and Merleen Guidry Freeman;
father and mother in law, Russell, Sr. and Vita Poiencot;
bothers and sisters in law, Pam and Kevin Harvey, Rocky and Mike Haney, Guy and Phyllis Poiencot, Terry and Vickie Poiencot, Lisa and Andre Hebert and many nieces, nephews and family members;
and her 4 best friends Cindy, Arleen, Gisele and Monica.
She was preceded in death by grandmother, Cedolia Benoit Guidry;
grandfather, Lawrence Guidry and
grandmother, Atrice Marcel Freeman.
Eileen's strength in this battle was greatly admired by all who knew her. Her joys in life were her grandchildren and spending time with her family especially her husband Russell and her son Rusty. She loved spending time in New Orleans especially the French Quarter with her four girlfriends. She was a real estate agent for many years. Eileen and Russell started and built Rapco Fabrication,a successful welding and fabrication company. She was devoted mother and wife and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
