Roy Joseph Neal Sr. “Pop”, 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, died at 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the Marine Corps League building, with burial at Holy Rosary cemetery.
He is survived by three sons, Thomas Neal, Roy Neal Jr. “Beau” of Houma, and Timothy W. Neal and wife, Angie, of Hewitt, Texas; two daughters, Cynthia Renee Dupre and husband, Tommy, of Houma, and Monica Neal of Dallas, Texas; one stepdaughter, Donna Naquin and husband, Wilbert, of Gonzales; one stepson, Perry LeBoeuf and wife, Cheryl, of Bourg; two sisters, Beverly Roerig and husband, Gary, of Avondale and Maybel Trahan and husband, Daniel, of Chauvin; and his sister-in-law, Lolita Neil of Dulac.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Joyce LeBeouf Neal of Houma; his parents, Sidney and Lucina LeBoeuf Neal; four brothers, Elmore, Reed, Terry, and Alvin Neil; one sister, Deborah Neal; one stepson, Ronnie LeBoeuf; 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was an avid participant with the Marine Corps League and The Elks Lodge of Houma. He was a U.S. Marine Corps Korean War veteran. He loved to volunteer with local charitable organizations. He was self-employed in the oil field.
