Roland Earl"Buddy"Guin Jr., 52, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 12:45 PM from complications following surgery. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 7:00pm to 9:00pm Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 4:00pm to 9:00pm at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Friday, October 22, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be Friday, October 22, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Garden of Memories, Gray, Louisiana. he is survived by his companion of 23 years, Kevin Dumont, two sisters; Rhonda Lewis and Debra Chaisson, two brothers; Luther "Gip" Guin and Steven Guin; four nieces, Misty Lewis Theriot, Tracie Chaisson Authement, Stevie Jo and Madison Guin, six nephews; Louis "Scooter" Chaisson, Joey and Adam Lewis, Joshua, Jacob and Austin Guin; brother-in-laws, Welton Lewis and Louis Chaisson, sister-in-laws; Lauren and Lori Guin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roland "Tex" and Maxine Wall Guin; and grandparents, Luther and Rosa Lee Wall Weed. He was a dual resident of Bayou Blue and Algiers, Louisiana.
