Chad Melancon

Funeral services for Chad Melancon, age 44, will be held on Monday, October 25, at Chauvin Funeral Home located at 5899 Hwy. 311 in Houma LA. Visitation will be from 8:00AM until noon, with a service beginning at 12:00 PM. Chad is preceded in death by his Step-Father Moe Wernert and survived by his daughter Melanie, his mother Patsy Wernert and his father Patrick Melancon and Sandra Melancon. Chad’s kind and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved him, especially his surviving siblings and family members including Perry Melancon, Kevin Melancon, Robby Melancon, Tracy Melancon, Denise Melancon Thompson, Stephanie Melancon Guardia, Benson Row, Ellen Melancon, Christine Melancon, James Thompson, Chris Guardia, Shawn Melancon, Stephanie Frisch Melancon, Arlene Melancon, Martha Carter Norra, Linda Pillow Melancon, Cathy McAdams Matte, D.D. Matte and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff at Leonard J. Chabert Medical Center for their kindness and compassion.
