Virginia Landry Daigle, 78, died Monday, October 4, 2010 at 6:45 AM. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 9:00 AM until service time at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by bu her husband, Edward "Bobby" Daigle, Jr; 8 Children, Stephen Daigle and wife Faye, Kathy Picou and husband Ronney, Sue Vestal and husband Russell, John Daigle and wife Cherie, Judy Fucich and husband Mark, Theresa LaRose, Alice Watson and husband John and David Daigle and wife Cyndi; 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; brother, George "Mooney" Landry, Jr and sister, Ann Campbell. She is preceded in death by her parents, George Malcolm Landry and Judith Waguespack Landry and sisters, Jackie Guidroz and Lynn Hillburn. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church She was a member of the Terrebonne Audubon Society, the Pond Society and the Orchid Society. She was a volunteer at Maison Deville Nursing Home for 33 years.
