A memorial service will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel in New Roads, Louisiana on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Survived by his Spouse, Garnet Schexnayder; Sons, Gerald Paul Schexnayder Jr and wife Katherine Schexnayder of New Roads LA; Daughters, Bridget Olivier and husband Pat Olivier of Schriever LA Allyson Schexnayder of Covington LA; Brothers, Ovide "Bill" Schexnayder of Walker LA; Grandchildren, Emily Schexnayder, Jennifer Schexnayder, Lynn Michael Olivier and Megan Allyson Olivier Preceded in death by his Parents, Albert John Schexnayder Ophelia Dufrene Schexnayder; Brothers, Francis Schexnayder, Nolan Schexnayder, Albert Schexnayder and Lynn Schexnayder; Sisters, Hilda Mix, Velma Dayries, Hayzel Langlois, Alice Tregre, and Marguerite Francez.
