Theresa Trahan Lirette, 77, a native of of Chauvin, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 4:20 PM. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00pm Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 from 9:00 to service at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at 11:00 am Mass Time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. She is survived by her Daughters, Lisa Lirette Fanguy and Gary Fanguy of Montegut LA, Janita Fanguy of Houma LA and Gail Marie Guidry and husband Allen of New Orleans LA; sons, Leonard Lirette and wife Debbie of Lafayette LA; Leon Lirette Jr and wife Stephanie Lirette of Alvin TX;and Christopher Lirette and wife Ronda of Mansfield TX; brothers, Eddie Trahan of Chauvin LA; Wilbert Trahan of Chauvin LA; and Joan Trahan of Chauvin LA; sisters, Rosalita "Sur" Cunningham of Chauvin LA; 16 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by his spouse, Leon Paul Lirette Sr.; parents, Gean Baptiste Trahan and Helen Lirette Trahan; brothers, Justilian "Beb" Trahan and Aaron "Vin" Trahan; Guildey "Boot" Trahan and Wiley Trahan; sisters, Lydia Thibodaux, Villey White and Anola Trahan; daughter,; Judy White Martin and grandson, Glen Ray Booth. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She was a dedicated foster parent. Loving mother and grandmother. She was member of the East Park Ladies Auxiliary.
