Linda Lee Talbot, 67, a native and resident of Houma, died at 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
She is survived by two daughters, Kim Carrere Hall and husband, Jerry Jr., of Houma, and Kellie McCoy Grzenia of Macomb, Mich.; one son, Scott McCoy of Houma; two sisters, Cammie Talbot Chachere of Baton Rouge, and Lisa Talbot Barnett of San Diego; eight grandchildren, John Everett McCoy III, Katie McCoy, Marissa McCoy, Jacob Perkins, Steven Perkins, Austin Grzenia, Katelyn Hall and Brody Hall; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Everett L. Talbot and Rita Lapeyrouse Talbot; one son, John Everett McCoy Jr.; and two grandchildren, Mathew McCoy and Cody McCoy.
She was a member of Living Word Church. She was very outgoing and an excellent cook, mother and grandmother. She was a devout Christian who loved spending time with her family.
