Roland Joseph Toups, 75, a native of Lockport, LA and a resident of Theriot, LA died Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at 4:35 PM. Visitation will be Friday, September 24, 2010 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, September 25, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Eloi Catholic Church with burial in Holy Savior. He is survived by his wife, Rita Fields Toups; sons, Glenn G. Toups, Carl P. Toups; daughters, Linda T. LeBeouf, Susan T. Alario; brother, Henry J. Toups; sister, Anna Helen Falgout; 13 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry B. Toups and Anna Tourelle Toups; son, Craig S. Toups; sister, Cecile T. Detillier; brothers, Charles J. Toups and Ronald J. Toups, Whitney J. Toups; grandson, Jonathan G. Toups, Jacob T. Toups. He was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #8779.
