Chaz Michael Boudreaux

Chaz Michael Boudreaux, 27, a native of Chauvin and resident of Houma, passed away Saturday, Sept. 18, 2010. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. He is survived by his parents, Cindy Solito and Rogers Boudreaux Jr.; four children, James Ledet and C.J., Ethan and Bianca Boudreaux; three older siblings, brother Rogers Boudreaux III, and sisters Kerrie Burns and Lacey Bergeron; his grandparents, Charles and Judy Solito, and Roseline Martin; three nephews, Anthony, Austin and Seth; and his brother-in-law, Rodney Burns Jr. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rogers Boudreaux Sr.; and his aunt, Nancy Solito. He was a CNC Machinist who loved his work and aspired to one day open his own machine shop. He was a beloved brother, a dear friend, nurturing father, cheerful uncle, and a loving son. His legacy will continue on in the greatness achieved by his four beautiful children. There were few things that made him cry, but when he did, he did so without shame. His family and his friends were the most important things to him, and if he could have done anything for them, he would have. In times of hardship, he was a smile that pulled you through. He was a laugh that turned your day around. He was a joke at the exact moment the day seemed lost. He was fun. He loved. He laughed. He was the loudest scream heard over 70,000 screaming Saints fans. He was the life of the party and the light of the room, and when he looked you in the eyes, you knew he was being sincere. He was tough and soft. He was small and larger than life. He was a life-changer. Chaz, you left us with wounded hearts and a book of memories half-filled. We will never forget you and the light you brought into each of our lives. And through this time of hardship, we can only rely on the many memories you left us with during your short time with us. We love you, Chaz. We love you.
