Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Services will be Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 12:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. She is survived by her Son, Todd Anthony Bourgeois; Daughter: Susan Bourgeois ; Brothers: Michael Marcel, Gerald Marcel, and Maurice Marcel; Grandchildren: Shea Lynn Schexnayder, Shanna Foret, and Jodie Morrison; Great Grandchildren: Desiree Foret, Katelynn Foret, Taylor Foret, Damion Morrison, and Jacob Defrene, Jr. She is preceded in death by her Parents: Louis J. Marcel and Dolores Brunet Marcel; and Husband: Stanley "Sonny" Cyril Bourgeois, Jr. She was a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and going to the casino.
