Ouida Ernestine "Mrs. Tin" Parfait, 76, a native and resident of Dulac, LA died Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 5:45 PM. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 7, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. until service time at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Chrisitian burial will be Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial in Holy Family Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Joseph "T.T." Kirvin Parfait, Dulac, LA; Children: Johnnie Parfait and wife Carolyn, Denham Springs, Donna Verdin and husband Hank, Dulac, Malcolm Parfait and wife Gloria, Houma, Lonnie Parfait and wife Sheila, Celebration, FL, Penny "Edna" Pellegrin and husband Perry, Bayou Blue, Pamela Carlos and husband "T-Irv" Irvin, Dulac, Myra Christen and husband Kevin, Houma, Juliana "Tita" Williams and husband John, Houma, Karl Parfait and wife Deanna, Houma, Mary "Memie" Scott and husband Albert, Houma, Kerry Parfait and companion Vicki, Houma; Grandchildren: Cheramie Bowman, Hank Jared Verdin, Cheralyn Monique Verdin, Monica Parfait, Valerie LeJeune, Lonnie J. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Joseph Parfait and Edna Trosclair Parfait; Infant Daughter: Valerie Ann Parfait; and Sister: Rita Verdin. She was a homemaker, housekeeper and cook for Holy Family Rectory, the Calvin Authement family and for the Late Father Caillouet and she was a shrimp packer for Samanie Shrimping. She was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. She was a catechism teacher at Holy Family Church.
