Mary Alice Swanson, 63, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gray, LA died Friday, August 27, 2010. Visitation will be Sunday, August 29, 2010 from 5:00 to 9:00 pm Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Monday, August 30, 2010 from 9:00 to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be Monday, August 30, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Gray, LA. She is survived by her sons, Charles Defelice and wife Dana of Couteau LA; Richard DeFelice and wife Dina of Houma LA; Brian DeFelice and wife Sheri of Winnsboro LA; and Dwayne DeFelice of Gray LA; daughters, Monica DeFelice Leco and husband Joseph of Houma LA Vicki DeFelice Smith and husband Harry of Houma LA Kimberly Swanson Tolar and husband Chris of Gray LA and Peggy Wehner Thibodeaux and husband Scott of Houma LA; sister,Judy Parfait of Waveland MS; brothers, Ernest C Verrett and wife Brenda of Montegut LA, Albert K Verrett of Houma LA and Lynn Welch and wife Liz of Broussard LA; step brothers, Larry Welch of Bourg LA and Roy Welch of Shreveport LA; step sister, Babara Mabry of Houma LA; 17 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and 9 step grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her First Husband Walter A DeFelice, son, Joseph W DeFelice, parents, Rita Lodrigue Solet and Ernest C. Verrett, and step father, Ruby Solet She was a member of Christian Faith Fellowship Church.
