Earl J. Henry, 94, a nativeof Bayou Dularge, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Friday, August 20, 2010 at 11:40 PM. Visitation will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Survived by his wife of 71 years, Verrel LeBlanc Henry, Houma, LA; son, Dana Henry and wife Clara, Denton, TX; daughter, Karen Henry Dower, Baton Rouge, LA; grandchildren, Chris Henry, Denton, TX and Samantha Henry Knowles, Denton, TX; great grandchild, Peyton Knowles and sister, Grace Rome, Houston, TX. Preceded in death by his parents, Vital Henry and Winnie Champagne Henry and brother, Dr. Royce Henry. He was the Owner of Henry's Furniture Store. He served in the Air Force during World War II.
