Marie Theriot

Marie Ann Theriot, 88, a native of Theriot and resident of Houma, died at 7:28 p.m. Friday, Aug. 6, 2010. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at St. Eloi Catholic Church. Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. She is survived by her sister, Rita Theriot Bergeron. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lexington J. Theriot and Alida A. Champagne Theriot; two brothers, Isaac Theriot and Joseph Theriot; three sisters, Rose Theriot Champagne, Corinne Theriot Naquin and Irene Theriot Dupre. She worked at the ammunition plant as a young girl. She was a parishioner of St. Eloi Catholic Church.
