Anne Watson

Anne Carol Theriot Watson born, February 7, 1953 and died on July 16, 2010. She was a native of Houma, Louisiana and resident of Elizabeth City, North Carolina. Visitation will be held on Friday July 23, 2010 from 11: 00 AM until Service time at Chauvin Funeral Home Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday July 23, 2010 at 1:20 PM at St. Francis Catholic Church with burial at St. Bridget Catholic Church Cemetery Anne will be dearly missed by her husband of almost 35 years, Wilbert J. “Bill” Watson, mother, Corinne “Queenie” Moore Theriot, brothers, David G. Theriot and Jerome “Joe” Theriot, sister, Angela “Kid” Theriot Brown, 11 Nieces and 6 Nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, James P. Theriot, Sr., and one brother, James “Jimmy” Theriot, Jr. Anne was an avid quilter, and she belonged to several guilds in the Elizabeth City, North Carolina area. She was a Team Captain for Relay for Life and was a member of the “Lucky Ladybugs” Cancer Survivor group. Anne was a Master Gardener, an avid scuba diver, a hang glider pilot and a travel agent. She was also a school teacher and a government contract consultant. Anne received her Bachelor of Science in Home Economics from Nicholls State University in 1975 and received her MBA in finance from Texas A & I University Kingsville, TX in 1983.
