Lindsey Robert Fontenot, 25, a native of Houma, LA and a resident of Gray, LA died Friday, July 2, 2010. Visitation will be Monday, July 5, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Tuesday, July 6, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2. He is survived by his parents, parents, Lindsey Michael Fontenot and Ava Popay Fontenot; fiance, Jessica Toms; sister, Lauren Fontenot and fiance Jeremiah Verrett; grandparents, Lindsey J. and Aline Fontenot and Catherine C. Popay; uncles and aunts, Carl Fontenot, Dudley "Boo" Talbot and wife Danette F. Talbot, Denise F. Pellegrin, and George R. Popay, Jr.;godchildren, Gabrielle and Logan Jones and Mia Folse and numerous cousins and many close friends. He is preceded in death by his grandfather, George R. Popay, Sr.and his cousin, Drake Dupre. He was a copy technician for Copy and Camera. He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church He loved entertaining his friends and family and truly lived life to the fullest. He enjoyed working and accessorizing his and his friends vehicles.
