Rita Mae LeBlanc Malbrough, 76, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 1:51 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Mass will be at noon Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, with burial in St. Charles Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Elgin Malbrough Jr. and wife, Connie, of Houma; one daughter, Jennifer Levron of Houma; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elgin "Jeep" Malbrough; her parents, Wilsey Felix LeBlanc and Effie Rosa Babin LeBlanc; one infant son; one son-in-law, Richard Levron; four brothers, Wiltz, Morris, John "Looney" and Floyd LeBlanc; and four sisters, Hilda Robert, Ruby Lapeyrouse, Edris Authement and Nora White.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
