Rosella Griffin Crochet, 79, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Saturday, June 26, 2010. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by her husband, Viles Joseph "V.J." Crochet, Jr.; sons, Kevin Crochet, Patrick Crochet and wife Patricia; daughters, Anne Crochet Rainier and husband Larry, Paula Crochet Adams and husband Keystol, Pam Crochet Weeks, Claudia Crochet; grandchildren, Rebecca Rainier, Tiffany Rainier Quitania, Chad Adams, Shawn Adams, Carrey Weeks Britsch, Michael Weeks, Casey Crochet Bonvillain, Brandon Crochet, David Velasquez; great grandchildren, Drake Bonvillain, Rylee Bonvillain, William Britsch, Brittney Velasquez; brothers, Allie Griffin, Jr., Robert Griffin, John Griffin; and sister, Della Sanders. She is preceded in death by\ her parents, Allie Griffin and Eve Savoie Griffin; daughter, Erica Jone Crochet and sisters, Helen Guyton, Marie Louise Griffin. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing with her husband, cooking and raising her family.
