Stephen William “Bill” Fanguy, 78, a native of Little Caillou and resident of Chauvin, died at 6:58 p.m. Saturday, June 19, 2010.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Norma Boudreaux Fanguy of Chauvin; one daughter, Connie Bourg and husband, Lavis “Jay” of Houma; three sons, Gene Fanguy of Chauvin, Todd William Fanguy and wife, Christy of Chauvin, and Billy Ray Fanguy and wife, Melissa of Chauvin; two brothers, Warren Thomas Fanguy of Chauvin, and Richard “Dickie” Fanguy of Chauvin; one sister, Mary Fanguy of Henderson, Nev.; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen John the Baptist Fanguy and Adeline Hebert Fanguy; one son, Wallace Fanguy; and two brothers, Phillip and Gene Fanguy.
He was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
