Michael James McIntire Sr., 51, a native of Houma and resident of Gibson, died at 3:25 a.m. Wednes-day, Oct. 4, 2006.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from noon to funeral time Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Staci Smith McIntire of Gibson; one son, Michael McIntire Jr. of Gibson; one daughter, Mollie McIntire of Gibson; two brothers, Dan McIntire and wife, Jo Ann, of Houston and Carroll McIntire Jr. and wife, Sheila, of Gibson; and two sisters, Judy M. Maclean and husband, Paul, of Houma and Susan M. Claudet and husband, Joseph, of Thibodaux.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carroll McIntire Sr. and Carmen Martinez McIntire.
He was owner of McIntire Sales and was an avid community leader.
He was a parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church.
