Nettie Domingue

Nettie Babin Domingue, 98, a native of Myrtle Grove, LA and a resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 9:00 AM. Visitation will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 from 9:00 AM until Service time at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Services will be Saturday, June 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church with burial in Terrebonne Memorial Park. She is survived by her sons, Walter "Sonny" Domingue and wife Patricia of Thibodaux and Thomas "Tommy" Domingue and wife Jackie of Youngsville; sister, Mrs. Elfie Babin Dupre;10 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Anthony Domingue, parents, Aurestile and Adele Authement Babin, sisters, Mrs. Jason (Nita Babin) Smith, Mrs. Hayes (Fanny Babin) Porche, brothers, Roger "Dade" Babin, Octave "Whitey" Babin and Philip "PeeYank" Babin. Nettie was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux, where she was a member of the Ladies Alter Society. She also loved to dance.
