Doris "Margarite" Domangue Falterman

Doris "Margarite" Domangue Falterman, 88, a native of Terre-bonne Parish and resident of Houma, died at 1:20 p.m. Friday, Sept. 29, 2006. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. She is survived by four sons, Dennis Falterman Jr. and wife, Velvet, of Lafayette, Mike Falterman and wife, Jean, of Raceland, Mark Falterman and wife, Marion, of Rayne, and David Falterman and wife, Lana, of Sunset; one daughter, Doris Falterman Hello and husband, Paul, of Gray; two sisters, Dorothy Picou of Chauvin and Sedonia LeBlanc of Gibson; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis A. Falterman Sr.; her parents, Albert Domangue and Bernice Picou Domangue; one son, Timonthy Joseph Falterman; and one brother, Jeffery Domangue. She was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a devoted Catholic and parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She was devoted to her family and friends and will be greatly loved and missed by all.
