Wiltz James LeBlanc, 82, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Tuesday, May 25, 2010.
Visitation will be Friday, May 28, 2010 from 9:00am to service time at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc.
Funeral services will be Friday, May 28, 2010 from 11:00AM at Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc., with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Williams LeBlanc;
daughter, Taree Montero and husband Tommy; two sisters, Betty Hansen and Verrel Henry husband Earl; sisters-in-law, Bernice LeBlanc and Margie Williams; two grandsons, Neal Montero and wife Lynse , Tyler Montero and wife Stacey and three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents,Norris and Anna LeBouef LeBlanc and brother, Andrew LeBlanc.
He was a native and resident of Houma LA and also a long time resident of New Orleans LA.
He was a Merchant Marine Veteran of the 2nd World War and a U S Army Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion.
After 25 years of service, he retired from New Orleans Public Service and returned to Houma. He was a business owner and member of the Bayou Board of Realtors. He served as a member of the Houma-Terrebonne Regional Planning Commission for 21 years.
