Randolph "Randy" Carlos Jr., 69, a native of Houma and resident of Gray, died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lunk Carlos of Gray; two sons, Rory James Carlos and wife, Suzanne Nolfo, of Houma, and Trent Carlos and wife, Mary Beth Scaife, of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two daughters, Denise Carlos Boudreaux and husband, Keith, of Houma, and Tanya Carlos Pitre and husband, Glenn, of Bourg; two brothers, Gerald Carlos and Bert Carlos of Houma; one sister, Mona Pellegrin of Houma; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Randolph Carlos Sr. and Felma Bourg Carlos; and one sister, Barbara Whitney.
He was a retired oilfield salesman and a U.S. Marine Reserve Veteran. He was a member of the Houma Terrebonne Community Band and Rhythm 7 Band.
He was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
