Clarence Mayeaux, 80, a native of Houma, LA and resident of Houma, LA on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 11:18 PM. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 8:30am to service time at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 25, 2010 12:30 pm at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral, with burial at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. He is survived by his daughter, Terri Mayeaux Chauvin and husband Kenneth J Chauvin of Houma, LA; sister,Bridget Mayeaux Pitre of Houma LA; granddaughter,Amie Chauvin; grandson,Jude Chauvin He was preceded in death by his wife,Dorothy "Dot" Aucoin Mayeaux; father,Clarence Mayeaux Sr.; mother,Aline Roundtree Mayeaux; sisters, Eula Mae Bourgeois. Hazel Guidry, Elizabeth Mayeaux, Margaret Mayeaux and Pearl Mayeaux. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory Barbarigo Catholic Church. Paw Paw Clarence was a loving father and grandfather. He loved working in his garden and spending time with his grandchildren Jude and Amie and his grand-dog Abby.
