Gerald Anthony Bergeron, 74, a native and resident of Houma, LA died Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Visitation will be on Friday, May 14, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm Chauvin Funeral Home, Inc. and Saturday, May 15, 2010 from 9:00am to service time. at St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 11:00AM at St. Matthews Episcopal Church with burial in Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery. He is survived by his wife 52 years, Betty Harris Bergeron; children, Michael A. Bergeron and wife Darla Bergeron of Bourg, LA, Sheila Viator and husband Dr. Mickey Viator of Dickinson, TX, and Daniel J. Bergeron and wife Cindy Bergeron of Houma,LA; brother, Harvey J. Bergeron of Houma LA; sister, Patricia Popp of Daphne AL; 8 Grandchildren, Ryan and Kacey Bergeron, Bradley and Brett Guidry, Lance and Taylor Bergeron, Andrea Viator and Leah Scott; 1 great grandchild, Ava Flynn. He is preceded in death by his parents,Harris Anthony Bergeron and Marie Rogers Bergeron; sister, Elaine Popp. He was a member of St. Matthews Episcopal Church. Gerald enjoyed fishing and spending time gardening.
