Theresa Roddy

Theresa Guilfour Roddy, 90, a native and resident of Schriever, died at 7:20 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Bridget Catholic Church, with burial in the church cemetery. She is survived by one son, Ray J. Roddy and wife, Joyce, of Schriever; one daughter, Beverly T. Vercher of Schriever; one sister, Mary Bonvillain of Houma; eight grandchildren, Beady A. Roddy III, Michael J. Roddy, Rodney J. Roddy; Johnny R. Roddy, Joseph D. Vercher, Wanda K. Vercher, Shawn Roddy and Troy Roddy; 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Beady A. Roddy Sr.; her parents, Gus Guilfour and Daisy Stevens Guilfour; one son, Beady A. Roddy Jr.; one grandson, Brad A. Vercher; two brothers, Stanley Guilfour and Cleveland Guilfour; and one sister, Margaret Boudreaux. She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bridget Catholic Church
