Camille Joseph Boudreaux, 91, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2006.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his companion, Viley Kreamer of Chauvin; one son, Clark Boudreaux of Houma; two daughters, Rita Mae Peterson of Denham Springs and Joyce Mulkey and husband, Bill, of Prairieville; one stepson, Vincent Kreamer and wife, Ying, of Bourg; three stepdaughters, Gloria Foret and husband, Donald, of Bourg, Charlene Breaux and husband, Bobby, of Raceland and Kimberly Kreamer and companion, Clint, of Chauvin; 11 grandchildren, Brittany Boudreaux, Kimberly Boudreaux, Rochelle Puccio, Robert Boyle Jr., Shanna Rivere, Channel Wells, Vernon Larson Jr., Angel Jones, Charlene Larson, Clifford Fonseca and David Fonseca; and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda Lapeyrouse Boudreaux; his parents, Mytille Boudreaux and Melissaire Domingue Boudreaux; one son, Camille J. Boudreaux; one daughter, Edith Larson; four brothers, Gillis, Evis, Julian and Yancy Boudreaux; and four sisters, Edna Pellegrin, Mathilda Engeron, Mancy Authement and Ida Lirette.
He was a retired carpenter with Dixie Shipyard for more than 30 years and a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
