Yvonne Rita "Yonnie" Martin Duet, 73, a native and resident of Bourg, LA died Thursday, May 6, 2010. Visitation will be at St. Ann Catholic Church on Saturday, May 8, 2010 from 8:00 AM until Service time at St. Ann Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 AM at St. Ann Catholic Church with burial in St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Tearance Joseph Duet; five daughters, Vickie Lynn Duet Martin, Alice Faye "Chautie" Duet, Monica "Nooka" Duet Folse, Tera Lee Duet and Yvette Duet Songe and husband, Ryan Songe; eight grandchildren, Jude Anthony Dupre, wife Kasi, Mary Belinda Duet Chauvin, husband Neil, Brandon James Folse of China, Rainie VanAmburg Simmoneaux, husband Joshua, Nathan VanAmburg, Brandy Lynn Folse, Kiah Lee Naquin and Justin Tearance Songe; six great grandchildren, Anthony, Blake and Coby Nettleton and Danny Lee Chauvin, Lincoln Jude Dupre and Jackson Ray Simmoneaux; four sisters, Elaine Martin, Alma Lebouef, RosaBelle Prosperie and Sherry Martin Malbrough and three brothers, David Martin, Michael Martin and Allen Benoit. She is preceded in death by her parents, Eustache Martin and Alice Roddy Martin, her step mother Cecile Benoit Martin; three children, Terry and Cherry Duet and Belinda "BeeBee" Marie Duet; two sisters, Jane Martin Ellender , June Martin and three brothers, Russell Martin, Percy Martin and Ronnie Martin. She was a Homemaker and a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. Yonnie was always a loving, caring Mother Hen to all that knew her and she prayed for Peace for everyone every day her words to you all "Make peace with yourself and each other".
